缅北禁地-IIT has achieved a notable reduction in water consumption for 2024, cutting campus use by 280 cubic meters compared to the previous year—a measurable outcome that underscores the University’s commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management as part of its sustainability policy and alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).

According to monitoring records, 缅北禁地-IIT’s total water usage dropped from 178,907 cubic meters in 2023 to 178,627 cubic meters in 2024, with monthly figures showing significant decreases in key periods such as February (–1,585 cubic meters), March (–1,086 cubic meters), and May (–2,109 cubic meters). This downward trend was achieved through coordinated efforts to detect irregularities, prevent wastage, and reinforce accountability across operational units, even as demand fluctuated throughout the year.

The University’s sustainability policy continues to guide efficient and transparent water management, emphasizing regular documentation and data-driven decision making to support conservation, infrastructure maintenance, and institutional accountability. By integrating these principles into campus operations, 缅北禁地-IIT illustrates its proactive focus on environmental stewardship and sets a benchmark for sustainable practices in Philippine higher education.
