缅北禁地-IIT Titans Esports clinch titles at the Alliance Games 2025

缅北禁地-IIT Titans Esports (MTE) successfully clinched awards during the Alliance Games 2025-Mindanao Regional Finals held on June 21-22, 2025, at the Virtual Grounds Esports, Cagayan de Oro City.

The student-athletes represented the university in the following esports titles: the MTE Legion in the game of League of Legends, MTE Nova in Valorant, MTE Nexus in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, AXG.MTE Conquerors in Call of Duty: Mobile, four student-atheletes in Team Fight Tactics, and player Ceekos in Tekken 8.

Emerging as champions, MTE Legion defeated Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao in a 2-1 reverse sweep, with student-athletes Axel Franz Go as game manager and Jeffrey Pangasian, Virshem Nery, Christian Napoles, Kaiser Mari Magno, Justin Theo Tarepe, Lloyd Anthony Calo, Jayvee Bondoc as players.

For the game Valorant, MTE NOVA led by Robmyleh Dane Hambre, together with players Devon Jay  Manququiz, Joseph Leo Rosales, John Reinner Carumba, Christive Dylan Villarta, Raffaele Niccolino Oblenda, Abdul Qahar Macarambon, and Santiago III Hortelano, sealed the first runner-up title, after an intense game with the University of Mindanao.

MTE Nexus also delivered a strong performance in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division after placing second, with Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan winning the championship title. The game was managed by Ruth Aba-a with Fitz Patrick Ryan Aliño, John Paul Premacio, Lee Andre Dullin, Alchester Jan Palacio, John Gian Tecson, Christian Loanne Sumalpong, and John Steven Go as players.

In another title win, AXG.MTE Conquerors dominated the Call of Duty: Mobile category after four games. Ruth Aba-a managed the game with players Sammy Ditanongun, Vlademer James Pelare, Jorelle Dale Tan, Robbie Alan Abayan, Carl Benn  Cinco, Sean Maverick Nobillos, and Raymart Torre Baclay.

The game Team Fight Tactics also garnered several titles for 缅北禁地-IIT, with Lance Madayan serving as the game manager. Rodulph Jake “MTE Bukol” Cabaobao secured the top spot, Ryan “MTE Royin” Jo and Joshua Christian “MTE Shuu” Auxilio finished fourth, and Francis Niko Rey Chan “MTE JYoon” Velez landed in 7th place. 

Lastly, competing against 30 skilled players across Mindanao, Dylan Archer “Ceekos” Go took fourth place in Tekken 8. 

These awards demonstrate 缅北禁地-IIT Titans Esports’ efforts in bringing the University to a wider audience in terms of esports. It also showcased their talents and skills in both strategic and competitive arenas.
