The Bachelor of Arts in History program aims to develop students' understanding of the past through studying historical events, processes, and contexts at local, national, regional and global levels. It exposes students to historical inquiry and enables them to analyze various sources. Students of the BA History program are expected to be equipped with analytical and communication skills applicable to academic research, education, public service, heritage work, and other professional fields.

PLO9. Practice professional and ethical standards in the field of arts, humanities, or social sciences.
PLO10. Participate in peace, environment, or development efforts.
PLO11. Conduct historical research, analyze data, and engage in historical writing (BA History specific).
PLO12. Conduct, analyze, and write historical research relevant to national development and identity (Philippines鈥揂sia Track).
PLO13. Demonstrate knowledge and applicable skills to analyze political, economic, social, and cultural issues in global foreign affairs (International Track).
PLO14. Conduct relevant historical works in professional fields outside academe (Public History Track).
PLO15. Teach history at secondary and primary levels with a strong background in local and international history (Education Track).
