Qualifications:
- At least a
college graduate.
- Experience in
conducting field research, specimen collection, and laboratory
analysis
- Excellent
written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledgeable
in using data collaboration tools (Google Docs, Sheets, excel)
- Willingness
to travel to remote areas for fieldwork
- Fluent in
speaking and writing in Maranao
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Field
research and Data collection: Assist in the conduct field surveys and
interviews in Nunungan, Lanao del Norte, assist in collecting plant
specimens and ensuring proper documentation,
- Data Analysis
and Documentation: Assist in Organizing of collected field data and ensure
accuracy and completeness, assist in the classification and verification of
bamboo species, and prepare charts, graphs, and reports summarizing
research findings
- Coordination
with Stakeholders: Assist in coordinating with LGUs, DENR, DTI and local
agencies for policy and industry insights on bamboo commercialization,
assist in planning and facilitating community activities (interviews, FGDs,
and workshops), Assist in securing research permits and ethical clearances
when required.
- Report
writing and Publication: Assist the preparation of progress reports,
technical papers, and final research paper and assist in preparing
presentations and research reports
