Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:
- At least with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Good basic knowledge of thermo-fluid sciences (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer)
- Has a background of using computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software, preferably SolidWorks, SimFlow, ANSYS and similar.
- Has background in the operation and use of 3D printers.
- Has background in conducting experimental research: assembling, calibrating, installing, testing and measuring data from sensors such as, but not limited to, temperature, humidity, flow meters.
- Has background in technical and scientific writing and presentation.
- Has background to manage a laboratory, organize equipment/sensors/gadgets and prepare and fabricate experimental set-ups.
- Has background to use laboratory and office software and equipment (Microsoft office software, data analysis software, etc.).
- Has background on research writing and methods
- Assists the project leader in performing and completing up the research
- Assists on the manuscript completion
- Assists the project leader in keeping track of the results of the research
- Assists in meetings, experiments, and other activities
- Assists in the preparation of progress/accomplishment reports
- Prepares communications, financial documents (TO, DV, PR, JOR, etc)
- Performs other tasks related to the project as assigned by the Project Leader
- Discuss with the Project Leader the progress of the research every three (3) weeks
